Yes, this is the joint venture!

August

The month of August started out by increasing the width of the driveway…by hand. Why?  Why not!

Remember that roof that was leaking?  Well, it leaked again so it was on to option #2…tear up and replace.

  After making a frantic run to the hardware store for some h-clips that someone was supposed to bring and didn’t!  We worked into the night.

Unfortunately, we were about one bundle of shingles short.  The stores were closed so we had a few well deserved drinks and made plans to finish next weekend.  The following weekend, the bundle of shingles were bought and installed.  Once again, we were short…this time only by three shingles.  The stores were closed so we had a few well deserved drinks and the roof would be finished later.  I’m happy to say the roof was finished and so far there are no leaks…at least in that part of the roof.

Back to the house.

By the end of the month we sanded, stained, and sealed the floor in the upstairs bedroom.
