The downstairs window/door trim had to be made. Of course it had to match the rest of the trim downstairs. There was a lot of measuring, remeasuring and cutting and recutting. But, it didn’t turn out so bad.
Taking a break from the trim, I had to do something about my truck headlights. The lenses were yellowed so it was awful driving at night. Instead of buying new lenses for 70 bucks a piece I decided on the “do it yourself” approach. Did you expect anything less? I was a little skeptical when I bought a type of lens restorer…but it was on sale and a lot cheaper than $140.
I did one headlight at a time and this was the outcome.
And after
I was actually quite surprised at the final result. It’s been about 5 months and still no sign of yellowing. Yes, I would recommend trying this before shelling out cash for new lenses.
Nice License Plate, I always knew that about you.
